Epping RSL is seeking an experienced and motivated chef to become a key part of our friendly kitchen team. Great opportunity to work in a busy bistro and function environment where quality, teamwork and growth are valued.

Key responsibilities

Work closely with our Sous Chef and Head Chef

Prepare, cook and present a' la carte dishes for the RSL

Create dishes that cater to dietary needs and food allergies

Bring creative ideas to our menu and specials

What we are looking for

Previous experience working as a chef

Experience in cooking a variety of bistro and modern meals

Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen

Strong knowledge and understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene

Good Preparation and organisation skills

Ability to maintain a clean and tidy work environment

Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

Must be available weekends and nights

A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a great kitchen culture

Previous kitchen experience is essential.
