An ASX-listed business in an exciting phase of growth is looking for a commercially sharp FP&A; Manager to join a high-performing finance team and play a lead role in shaping the numbers behind that growth story.
This is not a back-office reporting role. It's a true leadership position sitting close to the centre of the business, partnering with Financial Accounting, Data & Analytics, Commercial, Operations, IT and People teams to sharpen forecasting, strengthen reporting and support major investment decisions.
What you'll be doing
- Lead preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts, including P&L;, cash flow and balance sheet modelling for Board and executive presentations
- Maintain a long-range strategic planning model and keep forecasts current against changing conditions
- Own key financial and non-financial metrics, partnering with the data team to safeguard data quality
- Coordinate monthly board reporting and support period-close processes
- Deliver regular trading insights to the Executive team, covering sales, margin, cost and competitor trends
- Support investor relations activity, including roadshow materials, Q&A; prep and broker consensus models
- Prepare investment cases and feasibility papers for new sites and capex, and lead post-investment reviews
What we're looking for
- CA or CPA qualified, with 10 years' experience
- Big 4 or leading mid-tier transaction services / audit background, and/or strong commercial FP&A; experience, ideally within an ASX-listed workplace
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience using data visualisation tools
- Strong track record influencing senior stakeholders, with excellent communication skills
- Sharp critical thinking and confidence solving problems autonomously
If you're a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys being close to the numbers and shaping big decisions, this is an outstanding opportunity.
