Role Description This part-time Fresher Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) role is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with a mix of on-site work and some work from home.

The Data

Analyst will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to support internal reporting and analysis. Day-to-day tasks include preparing basic dashboards and reports, performing simple statistical analyses, and helping translate data findings into clear insights for business stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with senior analysts and cross-functional teams, documenting data processes, and maintaining data quality standards. The candidate will also contribute to ad hoc analysis requests and support ongoing data-related projects.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and foundational knowledge of data analytics techniques.
- Understanding of basic statistics, including descriptive measures and introductory inferential concepts.




- Ability to perform simple data modeling tasks, such as structuring datasets and defining relationships between variables.
- Effective communication skills to present data findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and introductory data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or similar).
- Interest in learning SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis languages and tools.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work workplace.
- Relevant coursework or a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
