The Role:

Purely Tasmania showcases the best gourmet gifts and tastes from across Tasmania. ​ Evoking the experience of shopping at a local market, find a smorgasbord of local gourmet food, wine, beer, spirits and speciality coffee, complemented with light meals, snacks, gourmet gifts​ and apparel 100% sourced from within the state. Enjoy the sit down bar and tasting area, where travellers can sample food and drink from a curated menu using products available for purchase in store. A final memorable taste of Tasmania.

We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our retail family at Hobart Airport in a Full-Time capacity. If you love connecting with people, creating memorable customer experiences, and inspiring others – this is your moment.

What You’ll Do

✅ Deliver standout customer experiences – lead by example

✅ Guide and support your team to meet service and sales targets

✅ Maintain high visual merchandising and presentation standards

✅ Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team

✅ Bring accountability, reliability, and positivity to every shift

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in a team leadership role within a fast-paced retail or hospitality setting

✅ Confident communicator and motivator

✅ A passion for customer service and making people feel welcome





✅ Ability to stay organised, focused, and cool under pressure

✅ A respectful and team-oriented attitude

✅ Versatile availability (early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays)

✅ Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
