Drive strategic customer outcomes.Smart is seeking a commercially minded and strategic leader to join our Customer Leadership Team as General Manager, Growth & Client Performance.Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, this role is responsible for driving customer growth, client retention, commercial performance and strategic account management across Smart's portfolio.About the RoleAs General Manager, Growth & Client Performance, you will develop and execute strategies that increase customer value, strengthen client relationships and support sustainable revenue growth.You will work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the business to identify growth opportunities, enhance client engagement and deliver strategic initiatives that create value for our customers and organisation.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customer growth and client performance strategies.
- Drive client retention, product uptake and revenue growth initiatives.
- Embed strategic account management practices across the Customer function.
- Build and maintain strong executive and client relationships.
- Lead Board papers, executive reporting and performance insights.
- Establish governance, reporting and performance frameworks to measure outcomes.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities.
About You You are a strategic and commercially focused leader with robust stakeholder management and influencing skills.
You bring
- Demonstrated experience delivering customer and revenue growth strategies.
- Strong account management and client relationship expertise.
- Experience leading commercial and strategic business initiatives.
- Excellent executive communication and reporting capability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience within financial services or a related industry.
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications desirable).
