We are on the lookout for our first GM at the newly rebranded ‘The View’ – Narooma.

The View , colloquially known to locals as The Million Dollar View Hotel, overlooks Wagonga Inlet out to the Pacific and services locals and tourists alike over Bar, Bistro and Gaming.

We have significant plans to increase the dining focus of the hotel, with a heavy bias to local seafood sitting inside that.

The role will include building an event and entertainment schedule at the hotel and will be executed by someone who can ramp up and pull back these levers in line with the seasonality that iconic coastal towns enjoy.

Your base team is circa 16 members approx half bar, half kitchen. This increases to around 25 in summer. We haven’t had a summer here yet either so jump on board and make some mistakes with us.





Our GM will be proficient in all things back office however it is vitally significant they can be the face of hotel, own it, talk about the local sea fare, wine list and recommend a cocktail or two. Think of those classic restaurateurs from days gone by.

The position is available for immediate start but we very much understand the right applicant may need to give appropriate notice.

The View is part of a small family owned pub group so there’s no getting lost in the machine, you can argue with everyone in the company on a first name basis.
