? About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, analytical, and technically curious Graduate Data Engineer to join our data and technology team ?

This entry-level opportunity is ideal for recent graduates and candidates looking to begin their career in data engineering. You’ll work with experienced engineers and data professionals to build, maintain, and improve data pipelines, databases, and data platforms. This is a great prospect to gain hands-on experience with modern data technologies while developing your technical and problem-solving skills ?

? Key Responsibilities

- Assist with designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines
- Collect, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources
- Support ETL/ELT processes and data ingestion workflows
- Assist with developing and maintaining databases and data warehouses ?
- Write and optimise basic SQL queries for data processing and analysis
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data processing issues ?
- Work with senior engineers to improve data reliability, performance, and scalability
- Assist with cloud-based data solutions and data platform development
- Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, processes, and systems
- Collaborate with data analysts, software engineers, and business teams
- Support automation and continuous improvement of data engineering processes
- Learn and apply new data technologies, tools, and engineering practices ?

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of databases, data structures, and data processing
- Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Good understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and data concepts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with senior technical team members
- Proactive attitude and genuine interest in data engineering ?
- No extensive professional experience required

? Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply ?
- Academic projects, internships, or personal projects involving data engineering are a plus
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Airflow, or similar technologies is advantageous
- Experience with Git, APIs, databases, or cloud platforms is preferred but not essential
