The Role

As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will assist in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, sewers, water mains, and wetlands, in accordance with contemporary industry best practices.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to begin a rewarding career in the development industry. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop within the business over time.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assist in preparing engineering designs for urban and rural roads, underground drainage systems, wetlands, sewers, and water mains, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and company policies.
- Prepare detailed design plans, specifications, and other documentation required for construction.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process and system improvements.
- Provide timely and accurate information to project managers and construction supervisors to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
- Audit completed works to confirm all design aspects, including key safety features, have been delivered.




- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed about developments and trends in civil engineering design.

Skills and Qualifications If you have the following criteria, we would love to hear from you!

- Holds a relevant qualification in Engineering or close to completion.
- Strong attention to detail with pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Positive, enthusiastic contributor to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through to completion.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
