Role Description This is a full time, remote role for a Graduate Data Analyst / Junior Data Analyst / Data Analyst at VY Legal. The role involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing legal and business-related data to support decision-making and improve operational and litigation outcomes. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and validating datasets, building reports and dashboards, preparing statistical summaries, and developing basic data models to identify trends and patterns.

The analyst will collaborate with legal and operations teams to translate data findings into clear insights, contribute to research projects, and support performance tracking and process optimization. The role also includes documenting methodologies, maintaining data integrity, and communicating results in an accessible format for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.




- Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics to perform basic statistical analysis, summarize data trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present findings clearly, prepare concise reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess Data Modeling skills to design simple models, structure data for analysis, and support forecasting or scenario analysis.
- Beneficial qualifications include familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or basic BI platforms; exposure to Python or R is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline) is preferred.
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and interest in the legal and professional services domain will be highly valued.
