About Pacific Private Hospital

Located on the stunning Gold Coast, our boutique facility is on a mission to redefine patient care.

Private has now completed our expansion, with an additional two operating theatres (seven in total) and eight inpatient hospital beds. We have commenced short stay orthopaedics.

Our newly expanded hospital offers a state-of-the-art facility which stands as a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence. Our hospital serves as a bridge between conventional hospitals and day surgery facilities, addressing a crucial gap in the healthcare landscape. Central to our ethos is a dedication to safety, unwavering patient care, and a commitment to enhancing recovery journeys.

We specialise in Orthopaedic, Ophthalmology, Plastic, MOH's, Oral & Maxillofacial, General surgeries and Gastroenterology/ Hepatology.

About The Program

- 60 hours per fortnight permanent part-time contract
- A 6-month program including an orientation week, rotations through Anaesthetics and PACU
- Dedicated graduate nurse program coordinator and experienced mentors
- Ongoing fortnightly education sessions, workshops and check ins

About You

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about perioperative nursing and delivering high-quality patient-centered care
- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Eligibility Criteria

- Completion of Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) prior to February 2027 or a maximum of 1 year post graduation
- APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Open to candidates with full working rights in Australia
