Trainer & Assessor – Electrical Supply Industry

National Civil Train (RTO 45058) is a nationally registered Training Organisation specialising in training delivery for the civil construction and Victorian Electrical Supply Industry (VESI).

Due to continued growth and increasing infrastructure activity across Victoria, we are seeking experienced Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) professionals who are already certified trainers, or are looking to transition into Trainer & Assessor roles. This role is ideal for experienced network workers with good communication skills, who are looking to utilise their experience and hands on knowledge and move into a sustainable career providing training and support to the next generation of ESI Workers.

About the Role

Reporting to the Training Manager, you will:

- Undergo an onboarding and induction program to identify your skills and strengths and qualifications
- Support training compliance and quality processes.
- Maintain training and assessment records within our Learning Management System
- Contribute to trainer development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Deliver training at client locations across Metropolitan Melbourne

Training delivery is supported by modern tablet-based systems, significantly reducing post-course administration requirements.

Suitable Background





We encourage applications from candidates with experience in:

- Electrical Supply Industry network operations
- Line worker, cable jointing or field supervision
- Network safety or auditing roles
- Civil / electrical infrastructure environments
- Authorised Electrical Worker environments

Candidates must have a minimum of 5-10 years of Electrical Supply Industry experience.

Previous training experience is highly regarded.

Must be located in Victoria

Requirements

- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122)
- Relevant Electrical Supply Industry qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Full Australian driver's licence
- Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
