Night Shift Sorter / Operator

Pay Rate: $48 per hour
Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Night Shift

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Night Shift Sorter to join our team, with the opportunity to progress into higher-skilled operational roles, including SCADA Control Room Operator.

About the Role

You will initially work as a Sorter, helping with the productive sorting and processing of materials. For the right person, there is potential to develop your skills and move into operator and control-room positions.





We are looking for someone who:

- Can reliably work 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM night shifts
- Is reliable, safety-focused and willing to learn
- Has an interest in progressing into higher-skilled operational roles
- Has good computer and technical skills
- Is comfortable working around machinery and processing equipment
- Experience or knowledge of plastics, recycling or waste processing is highly preferred
- Previous experience with plant operations, machinery, automation or SCADA systems would be an advantage
- Has the ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team
- Is keen to build a long-term career and take on additional responsibility
- Must be prepared to wear full PPE
- Must be OK with loud, dusty manufacturing environment, and recycled rubbish

Career Progression

This is more than just a sorting position. We are looking for someone who wants to develop your skills and potentially progress from Sorter - Operator - SCADA Control Room Operator.

Pay: $48 per hour
Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
