Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking a Heavy Diesel Power Station Operator for our client who specialise in maintenance, repairs and rebuilds for power stations and generator assets across WA.
An exciting prospect for an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join a growing Perth-based owner-operator business offering opportunities to expand your existing mechanical knowledge into the power generation industry.
The Role This will see you engaging in rostered work across multiple power station and generator sites throughout WA. You will work 10 - 12-hour day shifts on 8:6 or 2:2 roster.
- Circa $85 p/hr + super, depending on experience
- 10 - 12-hour day shifts – no night shift
- FIFO 8:6 or 2:2 roster
- Camp Accommodation with meals provided
Requirements
- Heavy Diesel / Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
- Relevant experience with diesel engines, generators, heavy plant or similar equipment
- Ability to pass pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen
- National Police Clearance (12 months) - ability to obtain
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights
- Ability to complete site inductions and meet relevant site requirements
