? We’re Hiring: Help Desk Analyst
? Employment Type: Full-Time
? Level: Entry-Level to Mid-Level
We are seeking a customer-focused, technically minded, and detail-oriented Help Desk Analyst to provide technical support to employees and users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving technical problems, assisting users, and working in a fast-paced IT environment.
? Key Responsibilities
• Provide first-level technical support to users through email, phone, chat, and ticketing systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Create, update, prioritize, and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.
• Assist users with account access, password resets, software installation, and basic system configuration.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, printer, email, and workstation-related issues.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT teams when required.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Assist with user onboarding, offboarding, and IT equipment setup.
• Monitor recurring technical issues and recommend improvements to reduce future incidents.
• Prepare and maintain IT support documentation, guides, and knowledge-base materials.
• Follow IT security policies, procedures, and best practices when providing technical support.
✅ Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applications is preferred.
• Experience with IT ticketing or service management systems is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple support requests.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with IT teams.
• Strong willingness to learn current technologies and IT support practices.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or equivalent are preferred but not required.
