About The Role

As a Hospital Pharmacist, you will provide hands-on clinical pharmacy services, support patient care and working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include

- Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
- Dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products
- Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
- Supporting patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
- Educating and advising staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the quality use of medicines

About You Whether you’re a newly registered pharmacist eager to dive into the world of hospital pharmacy or someone with experience in a community pharmacy looking to make a transition, we would love to hear from you. We provide full training and support to ensure your success.

Essential requirements

- Current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacy
- Australian working rights.
- Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- Possess good time management, communication and teamwork skills
- Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team
- Value attention to detail and able to work autonomously
