About the role

JDA Collective are seeking an experienced Hotel/Pub Duty Manager for The Northside Hotel. This is a busy and community-focused venue seeking an experienced hospitality professional who has worked within a similar fast-paced environment.

Position available are both PERMANENT and CASUAL, and the successful candidate must be available to work mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays in line with rostering requirements.

This role entails the following responsibilities:

- Assist the Venue Licensee with the daily operation of the venue

- Supervise and train hotel team members

- Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere throughout the venue

- Management of inventory and ordering of hotel stock

- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety requirements and other statutory regulations

- Deliver excellent and consistent customer service in line with JDA Collective standards

- Cash handling duties





- Communicate and implement policies and procedures to staff to ensure operational and service standards are maintained

- Manage and resolve customer complaints and workplace conflicts

- Opening and closing of the hotel

Skills and experience The successful candidate will have the following:

- Robust proficiency in both food and beverage management with a minimum of one (1) year experience is essential

- Solid understanding of gaming and TAB facilities

- RSA/RCG and ARCG is essential

- Ability to maintain high service standards while ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations

- Experience ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of hotel operations

- Strong staff supervision skills and the ability to uphold operational standards at all times

- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus

- Professionally presented, reliable, trustworthy and responsible

- Versatile availability to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays as required

- An Australian National Police Check completed within the last 3 months
