About the role

Denmark Waterfront Lodge is seeking a Housekeeper to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. Based in Denmark, WA 6333, this role is essential to maintaining the exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards that define our guests' experience. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our accommodation spaces are immaculate, welcoming and comfortable for all visitors.

This position offers flexibility and the chance to work in a beautiful waterfront location whilst contributing directly to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

- Cleaning and tidying guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and dining spaces
- Changing bed linens, towels and other soft furnishings regularly and promptly
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting all designated areas to maintain pristine conditions
- Restocking guest amenities including toiletries, towels and other supplies
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or damage to management
- Disposing of waste appropriately and recycling where possible
- Adhering to health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Responding promptly to guest requests and special cleaning requirements
- Working efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules and targets

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles within hospitality or similar environments
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain consistent high standards
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout shifts
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and techniques




- Understanding of health and safety protocols in hospitality settings
- Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
