About the role

As a 1st Year Apprentice Locksmith, you will work alongside experienced locksmiths and learn all aspects of the trade. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, problem solving and learning new skills.

Key responsibilities

- Lock installation, servicing and repairs
- Rekeying and keying locks
- Key cutting
- Residential and commercial locksmithing
- Restricted key systems
- Door hardware installation
- Safes and security products
- Electronic locks and access control
- Customer service
- Workshop duties and maintaining tools, stock and work vehicles

About you

- Hard working and willing to learn
- Self-driven and motivated
- Well organised
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to follow instructions
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Practical and mechanically minded
- Able to problem solve and think logically




- Presentable and professional when dealing with customers
- Current driver's licence required (Learner Licence holders actively working towards P's will be considered)
