We are a friendly and qualified accounting practice committed to providing outstanding service to our clients. We are seeking a proactive and personable Receptionist to become the first point of contact for our clients and support our team with a range of administrative duties.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding position suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent organisational skills, and can confidently manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering and directing telephone calls
- Managing appointments
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Assisting with client onboarding and maintaining client records
- Data entry and general administrative support
- Supporting accountants with administrative tasks as required
- Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
About You
- Previous reception or administration experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A professional presentation and positive attitude
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in an accounting or professional services environment
- Knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting processes would be an advantage
