Your opportunity

As Human Resources Partnering Lead at Mission Australia, you will play a pivotal role in helping leaders build high-performing teams, navigate complexity and create workplaces where people can thrive.

In this role you will work alongside senior leaders across Mission Australia to shape workforce strategy, strengthen organisational capability and lead a team of HR professionals who help bring our purpose to life every day. In this influential role, you'll balance strategic thinking with practical delivery, helping leaders navigate change, build high-performing teams and create exceptional employee experiences.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

- Lead, coach and develop a team of HR Business Partners to deliver high quality, compliant and customer-focused people support services.
- Partner with senior leaders to align workforce and people strategies with organisational objectives.
- Support the management of complex employee relations matters, investigations, grievances and performance management issues.
- Support organisational restructures and change initiatives, ensuring people impacts are effectively managed.
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives through effective partnering and coaching.
- Build leadership capability through education,



coaching and guidance on HR best practice.
- Analyse workforce data and insights to support evidence-based decision making and workforce planning.
- Collaborate with specialist teams including Employee Relations, Remuneration, Safety, Learning and Development, Payroll and Legal.

Requirements for success

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
- Experience in a senior HR leadership role within a business partnering environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing HR teams.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and contemporary HR practices.
- Proven ability to influence, coach and support senior leaders through complex workforce matters.
- Experience managing organisational change, restructures and workforce planning initiatives.
- Solid stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build credibility and trust.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of reports, business cases and employment documentation.
- Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism, resilience, confidentiality and sound judgement.
