HR Truck Driver / Experienced Forklift Operator & Yard Hand

Please read before applying — this is NOT a standard truck driving role.

We are looking for someone who can drive an HR truck, but just as importantly, we need someone who is genuinely highly experienced on a forklift and willing to work hard in the yard every day.

If you are looking for a role where you mainly sit in a truck, complete a few deliveries and finish your day, this position will not suit you.

What we actually need1. You must be VERY confident on a forklift

We are not looking for someone who simply holds a forklift licence.

You will be regularly

- Loading trucks quickly and safely
- Unloading trucks
- Moving and organising large quantities of pallets
- Working in a busy pallet yard
- Sorting and stacking pallets
- Manoeuvring forklifts around trucks, stock and other equipment

You need to be someone who can jump straight on a forklift and confidently do the job without needing to be trained from scratch.

1. You must be willing to work

This is a busy, physical job. We need someone who likes working, likes staying busy and isn't looking for the easiest possible day.

Some days can be longer than others. When we are busy, we need someone who is willing to get the work finished rather than watching the clock.

There is plenty of work available for the right person, so this role will suit someone who wants hours and wants to earn money.

1. Reliability is non-negotiable

We need someone who:
- Turns up every day
- Turns up on time




- Is ready to work when their shift starts
- Doesn't regularly call in sick or cancel at the last minute
- Can be relied upon by the rest of the team

If punctuality and attendance have been an issue in previous jobs, this role probably won't be the right fit.

The Role

Your day will involve a mixture of:
- HR truck deliveries and collections
- Forklift loading and unloading
- Preparing truck loads
- Sorting pallets
- Moving and stacking pallets
- General yard work
- Helping wherever required to keep the operation moving

This is roughly a truck driver + forklift operator + yard hand role combined.

Essential Requirements

- Current HR Driver Licence
- Current Forklift Licence
- Strong, proven forklift experience
- Comfortable working in a physical outdoor yard setting
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work longer hours when required
- Good attitude and strong work ethic

Pay: $35.00 – $44.00 per hour

- Truck driving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
