Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented HR professional who takes pride in getting things right, every time? We're looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. This is a highly administrative, detail-focused role at the centre of our employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to exit, and requires someone who takes confidentiality and accuracy seriously.
About the Role
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you'll own the employee record and the administration that flows from it: recruitment, onboarding, employment changes and exit. It's a hands-on, highly administrative role, and you'll be trusted with some of our most sensitive information, so accuracy, discretion and professionalism matter here, every single day.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job vacancy advertisements, posting on relevant job boards, shortlisting applicants, and arranging and conducting interviews
- Manage applications and expressions of interest received via Tanda, including maintaining the live EOI advertisement and the resulting talent pool
- Conduct reference and criminal history checks to ensure timely completion
- Liaise with unsuccessful candidates and provide constructive feedback
- Coordinate job offers, preparing letters of offer and compliant employment documentation
- Manage the digital onboarding process from offer acceptance through to signed contract
- Ensure a positive applicant experience and a smooth transition to the SS&A; team by collaborating with the HR team and department managers to schedule induction, training and ongoing support
- Maintain the employee database, award classifications, pay rates and entitlements, ensuring records are accurate, current and audit-ready
- Provide the Finance Department with timely, accurate employee and Award information to support the weekly payroll process
- Coordinate and manage HR administrative tasks, including maintaining records and files
- Prepare correspondence, letters and reports using Word, Excel and Outlook, and communicate confidently and professionally with staff, with a high level of accuracy
- Assist to maintain relevant and current policies and position descriptions
- Manage on-site uniforms, including ordering and stocktake
- Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, return of company property and equipment, and processing final record changes
- Assist with staff engagement activities
- Identify and assist to implement HR improvement processes
- Collaborate and communicate with the other HR Coordinator as required
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the role, particularly in relation to employee data and pay information
What We're Looking For
- Certificate IV in Human Resources or higher
- Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in a Human Resources role, ideally in HR coordination, administration or a similar operational position
- Robust understanding of employment legislation, awards and pay conditions
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with strong all-round administrative skills
- Comfortable working across HRIS, databases and other digital systems
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across the Club
- A positive, proactive attitude with an unwavering commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- Hospitality or registered clubs experience is a bonus
