About the role The role of the ICT Service Desk Officer is a customer facing role, primarily responsible for the logging, resolution and escalation of ICT service incidents. The role will work primarily on the EH ICT Service Desk and includes acting as a primary contact point for staff requiring assistance from the ICT department.

The position will report to the Service Desk Manager.

About you To be successful in this role you will possess:

An excellent technical understanding of a broad range of IT systems





Ability to work effectively under pressure, as well as great time management skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills with a positive, can do attitude.

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.

Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
