About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven In-Home Sales Representative to join our team in Craigieburn, VIC. This is a full time position where you will be the face of Acorn Stairlifts, visiting customers in their homes to understand their mobility needs and provide tailored solutions. You will play a crucial role in building relationships with customers, demonstrating our products, and closing sales whilst ensuring customers feel supported and confident in their purchasing decisions.

This role is essential to our growth strategy and allows you to make a meaningful impact on people's lives whilst achieving strong sales targets.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct in-home consultations with prospective customers to assess their mobility requirements and recommend appropriate stairlift solutions

- Deliver engaging product demonstrations that highlight the features, benefits and safety aspects of our stairlifts

- Build rapport with customers and provide expert advice to help them make informed purchasing decisions

- Prepare accurate quotes and sales proposals based on individual customer needs and home specifications

- Close sales through persuasive,



consultative selling techniques whilst maintaining professional integrity

- Process sales documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time

- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, visits and sales outcomes using our CRM system

- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators

- Provide exceptional customer service and address any questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy

- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth handover to installation and customer support teams

- Stay informed about product features, industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge

What we're looking for

- Proven track record in field-based sales or in-home consultative selling, preferably within the home services, accessibility, mobility or healthcare sectors

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse customer demographics

- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to explain complex products in straightforward, relatable terms

- Self-motivated and target-driven with a demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals





- Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle for travel throughout the Craigieburn area and surrounding regions

- Ability to manage your own time effectively, working independently whilst meeting scheduled appointments

- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications

- Physical capability to climb stairs safely during in-home demonstrations and assessments

- Professional appearance and demeanour with strong customer service orientation

- Willingness to undertake product training and ongoing professional development

- Understanding of or sensitivity to the needs of older customers and those with mobility challenges (preferred)

- Experience in the aged care, home modification or disability support sectors would be advantageous
