The Role

Based in Port Macquarie, you’ll assist experienced Geotechnical Drillers and work closely with field engineers across the region. This role suits those starting out, changing careers or experienced workers seeking stable, local work without FIFO travel. We offer hands‑on training and mentoring to help you succeed, with a strong focus on safety awareness at all times.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong safety awareness and knowledge of workplace health and safety
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Reliable, versatile team player
- Comfortable working outdoors and available for varied shifts
- Previous drilling, soil testing,



earthworks or related industry experience is beneficial, but not essential as training is provided
- Valid HR driver licence – non-restricted (all transmission types) or Condition B only. Condition A is not suitable for this role.
- A recent 5-year official driving history report is required (NSW Driving Record)
- WHS White Card
- Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol tests
