Key responsibilities will include:

- Operate and run the production lines within the plant to ensure quality of product is satisfactory

- Complete production paperwork

- Ensure production machinery is running smoothly

- Have a solid understanding of advance manufacturing plants

- Manage and run two shifts and the associated production team

- Report directly to the operations manager

- Be able to conduct production line setup and changeovers

- Translate production plans into practical daily and weekly manufacturing schedules

- Monitor production performance, schedule adherence, labour efficiency and resolve production constraints

- Manage and drive continuous improvement projects within the plant

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

- Experience working within the fast moving consumer goods industry (min 5 years)





- Experience operationally working in a factory environment

- Exceptional problem solving skills

- Relevant mechanical / engineering background required

- Forklift license a must

- Understanding of how a production line operates

- Ability to demonstrate managerial traits and qualities

- Mixing/batching/blending experience advantageous
