Australian Retirement Trust

Brisbane

Take hold of an opportunity and join Australian Retirement Trust as our Incident Management Coordinator. You'll support the administration and coordination of incident management activities across the organisation, ensuring accurate reporting, effective governance support, and timely regulatory communications. Working within our Risk & Compliance team, you'll partner with stakeholders to coordinate information, maintain documentation, prepare reports, and support governance processes.

Description

We're all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Incident Management Coordinator, you'll support the effective administration and coordination of incident management activities across the business. You'll help ensure stakeholders receive accurate reporting and insights, support governance forums, maintain key documentation, and assist with regulatory reporting obligations.

This role focuses on the governance, reporting and coordination aspects of incident management rather than conducting incident investigations. You'll work closely with incident owners, analysts and business stakeholders to monitor progress, coordinate updates, maintain records and support timely regulator communications. This is not an IT incident management role and does not involve managing technology incidents or leading investigations.

It's an excellent opportunity to develop your compliance, governance and risk management expertise while contributing to important organisational outcomes in a collaborative and supportive environment.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you'll:

- Prepare and distribute regular incident management reports, statistics, and summaries.
- Coordinate updates relating to reportable incidents and regulatory reporting obligations.
- Liaise with incident owners to gather information and monitor progress against actions.
- Provide secretariat support to governance committees,

including minute-taking and action tracking.
- Maintain incident management procedures, documentation, and supporting materials.
- Respond to stakeholder queries regarding incident management processes through ServiceNow.
- Support the production of ad hoc reporting and business insights.
- Build strong working relationships across Risk & Compliance and the broader business.
- Coordinate information and reporting associated with incidents, rather than undertaking incident investigations.

Qualifications It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- You have experience in an administrative, governance, compliance, or operational support role.
- Your understanding of risk, compliance, or governance frameworks enables you to work effectively in a regulated environment.
- You'll have experience using incident management, governance, risk and compliance, or similar business systems.
- You're highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- You have experience preparing reports and analysing data using tools such as Excel, including pivot tables.
- Your ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders is well developed.
- You'll be comfortable coordinating actions, tracking progress, and supporting governance forums.
- You're seeking a coordination and administration role rather than a technical IT incident management position.

- You understand that this role supports incident governance, reporting and regulatory obligations and does not conduct incident investigations.
- You're experienced working within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
