Your Responsibilities
As the Health Promotion/Injury Prevention Lead, you will be a vital member of the Injury Prevention Business Unit. This pivotal role will lead the delivery of our injury prevention projects for Stay On Your Feet® and Know Injury programs. The Health Promotion/Injury Prevention Lead will lead the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of health promotion projects to help reduce the impact of injury in our community.
1. Lead initiatives that enhance community engagement and awareness of key organisational priorities.
2. Providing strategic leadership and oversight for Injury Prevention community engagement and workforce engagement activities.
3. Strengthen relationships with stakeholders, partners, and communities to drive impact and advocacy efforts.
4. Monitor and evaluate activities to ensure they are meeting community needs and delivering measurable outcomes.
5. Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, community organisations, and industry leaders to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
6. Develops proposals and business cases to support funding applications, program growth, and strategic initiatives by identifying opportunities for diverse income streams and efficiency improvements.
7. Develop proposals and recommendations to support funding applications, cost savings, and resource optimisation.
8. Identify opportunities to build team capability by mentoring, coaching, and facilitating knowledge-sharing.
Selection Criteria
You will also have a minimum of five years of experience in health promotion.
Knowledge and experience in implementing injury prevention evidence-based strategies and designing, delivering and evaluating health promotion programs.
You will have strong health promotion, stakeholder engagement, project planning and project management skills.
Demonstrated experience leading teams, including coaching staff, to deliver quality programs and service delivery.
You will possess a qualification or demonstrated experience in Health Promotion, Health Science, Allied Health, Community Development, Behavioural Sciences and/or another related discipline.

The technical bits
This position is 1 FTE, 75 hours a fortnight, on a specified term contract (12-month parental leave cover). This position is based in our Leederville office, however some intrastate travel will be required. At times, you may be required to work outside of regular business hours. You will also be required to provide a current satisfactory Police Clearance, and a Driver's Licence is necessary.
