The Role & Business

Working as a Contracts Administrator with 3+ Years experience you will be working for a growing builder, you will be reporting to a well respected State Manager and have the opportunity to have a clear route into project management or Contracts Management if desired. If you are keen to work in Sydney's Western Suburbs you will be working in the NSW Division which is growing exponentially. The business has clients with whom they have been trading with for over two decades and can demonstrate stability and long term employment for Employees who are focused on loyalty.

You will be working on Fit-out and refurbishment commercial projects within Sydney. As a CA, you will be involved in all post-contract award decisions from procurement, letting subcontract trade packages, management of RFI's, variations and progress claims, EOT's and NoD's. As your experience grows, you will start to gain a strong understanding of Head Contract Management and preparing and presenting monthly Cost Reports to the Management Team.





Typically working on 1-2 concurrent projects depending on the size of the job and have a Dedicated Contracts Manager above you to help mentor and guide you in addition to your Project Manager. The company provide first class training for CA's with the opportunity to cut their teeth on smaller projects as a Junior Project Manager, while still providing the larger projects to aid your development.

As a Head Contractor they are well recognised and respected within their project range of $1M - $10M and growing within their chosen sectors. They pride themselves on team harmony, a strong culture and recognise people want to enjoy where they work. The business hire on personality with the intention of investing heavily in training and mentoring so you can grow with the business long term - they are not a project to project company when it comes to hiring staff and want people to join who are local and have family values.

Turning over in excess of $100M Nationally, they are best known for the delivery of Institutional, Health & Retail fit-out and refurb projects. Typically working with Clients who are household names across Australia, they have over a 50% hit rate on tenders they engage on further reinforcing how relationship focused this builder are.

Qualifications & Experience

- You will have finished a Bachelor of Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture

- You will have a minimum of 3 years industry experience working for a recognised Head Contractor in Sydney

- Your key drivers will be about wanting to be part of something and work with professional people whilst building quality projects

- Your attitude will be your biggest asset - you will be hard working, have a positive mindset and be eager to learn

- You will have worked with positive construction software - Jobpac, Cheops or Procore is advantageous
