- Provide advice on industrial relations, employment legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
- Support leaders with complex employee relations matters, performance issues, and workplace risk
- Interpret legislation and industrial instruments to deliver practical business outcomes
- Assist with enterprise bargaining, policy development, and compliance initiatives
- Develop resources, guidance materials, and stakeholder communications
- Facilitate training and workshops on workplace relations topics
A successful IR Advisor should have:
- Demonstrated experience in an Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Workplace Relations, or HR Advisory role
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
- Ability to interpret legislation and provide practical, commercially sound advice
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders through complex workplace matters
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and public speaking experience is highly regarded
- Ability to prioritise competing requests, work independently, and know when to seek specialist input
- Permanent Australian working rights and local IR experience
