Role Description This full-time remote role for an IT Support Officer / IT Support Specialist / Service Desk Analyst focuses on providing technical assistance to internal staff and supporting the digital tools used in service delivery. Day-to-day tasks include responding to support tickets, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and assisting with desktop computer and printer setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role involves monitoring system performance, escalating complex issues when necessary, and maintaining accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions.

The specialist will also collaborate with other team members to improve IT processes, enhance user experience, and ensure secure, reliable access to required systems and platforms.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Technical Support skills with experience handling user issues through service desk or ticketing systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity problems.




- Candidates should possess foundational Information Technology knowledge, including operating systems, basic networking, and security best practices.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Desktop Computers, including installation, configuration, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess Printer Support skills, including setup, driver installation, and resolving printing errors.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are beneficial.
- Solid communication skills, customer-focused mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential.
- Experience supporting productivity tools, cloud applications, and collaboration platforms will be considered an advantage.
