About Us: Gold Educational Tours brings Japanese student groups to Perth for school-based exchange and homestay programs, in partnership with 70+ WA schools. We're looking for a Japanese Coordinator to support our groups on the ground and help make each exchange run smoothly and safely.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supervise Japanese student exchange programs from arrival in Perth to departure
- Support students, teachers/chaperones, and host school staff with daily activities
- Keep the program on schedule and adapt when plans change
- Encourage students to speak English and engage with their host family and local classmates
- Be a positive, trustworthy adult students can rely on
- Build strong working relationships with the host school, visiting teachers, and program partners
- Flag issues with the office early
- Take photos and videos along the way for our marketing

Minimum Requirements

- Native-level Japanese, with solid conversational English
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid Certificate,



including CPR
- Full, ongoing working rights in Australia (not suited to Working Holiday visas)

Position Types We're hiring for two types of coordinator roles:

1. On-Tour Coordinator: Accompany the group throughout their stay as a representative of Gold Educational Tours

- Hours are approximately 8:00 am–4:00 pm, depending on the day's itinerary
- Requires a valid driver's licence and includes driving to various locations as needed

2. Airport & Transfer Support: Meet arriving groups at the airport and see them through to hotel check-in; support departing groups at the airport as needed

- Hours follow flight schedules (late-night and midnight arrivals/departures are common)
- No driving required
