About The Opportunity
As a Building Condition and Asset Planning Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting the long-term sustainability, safety and performance of Council's buildings and community facilities. This position focuses on condition assessments, asset planning, maintenance forecasting and technical advice to help ensure Council's facilities continue to meet the needs of our growing region. Working across a diverse asset portfolio, you'll contribute to informed investment decisions and improved outcomes for our community
About You
- Experience undertaking building inspections, condition assessments, facilities audits or asset management activities within a building or facilities environment.
- Sound knowledge of building construction, maintenance practices, asset lifecycle principles and building systems.
- The ability to analyse information and prepare technical reports, maintenance scopes, cost estimates and asset recommendations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external service providers.
- A relevant qualification in building, construction, facilities management, engineering, asset management or a related discipline
- A current Queensland C Class Driver Licence.
