About the Role

We're on the lookout for a Retail Assistant who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and genuinely enjoys helping tradies and customers find the right gear for the job. You'll be the face of our store — advising customers, processing sales, keeping the shop floor looking sharp, and pitching in wherever the team needs a hand.

Please note: this role requires availability across all 7 days of the week, as our roster operates on a rotating basis to cover trading hours. If you're after a fixed Monday–Friday role, this one won't be the right fit — but if flexibility works for you, read on.

What You'll Be Doing

- Providing knowledgeable, friendly service to customers — making your word your bond by following through on what you promise

- Processing sales, transactions, and customer orders accurately and efficiently





- Merchandising and maintaining store presentation to a high standard

- Assisting with stock receival, replenishment, and inventory management

- Building genuine relationships with regular trade and retail customers

- Working collaboratively with your teammates to hit store goals

- Bringing current ideas to the table and adapting quickly when things change

- Owning your mistakes and learning from them — nobody's perfect, and we back people who front up

What We're Looking For

- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service

- Availability across all 7 days (rotating roster — you won't work every day, but you need to be available for any of them)

- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

- Reliability — if you say you'll do something, you follow through

- Adaptability and a willingness to learn and try new things

- Previous retail experience is a bonus but not essential — the right attitude matters more

- Physical ability to lift stock and be on your feet for extended periods
