Printer, CNC router and Corel Draw Design

Harlequin Signs is seeking a skilled and experienced Wide Format Printer, CNC Router and Corel Draw Design skilled to join our team in Slacks Creek, Queensland. This is a full-time position based on-site at our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment, CNC routers, and utilising Corel Draw design software to produce high-quality signage and printed materials. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional results that meet our clients' specifications and deadlines, contributing directly to the success of our printing and publishing services division.

Key responsibilities

Operate and maintain printing equipment to produce signage, graphics and printed materials to the highest quality standards

Set up and operate CNC router equipment for cutting, engraving and routing various materials including wood, acrylic, vinyl, aluminium and composites

Utilise Corel Draw software to create, design and prepare artwork files for production, ensuring designs meet client specifications and technical requirements

Perform colour matching and quality control checks throughout the printing and production process

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, performing routine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance

Prepare materials and manage workflow to meet project deadlines efficiently

Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients regarding design modifications and project progress

Assist with production and installation of signage

Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience operating printing equipment and CNC routers in a commercial or industrial setting

Advanced proficiency in Corel Draw software, with demonstrated ability to create designs from scratch or modify existing artwork - at least 1 year experience





Experience with CNC router or similar machinery

Experience operating wide format and commercial printers

Strong understanding of print production processes, colour management and material properties

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing work that consistently meets quality standards

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and production briefs

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for equipment maintenance and problem-solving

Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Full New South Wales driving licence (preferable)

Health and safety awareness and willingness to comply with workplace safety protocols
