Complete Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced Grade 2 Mechanical Fitter for a hands-on, field-based maintenance role working on the Sydney Harbour Bridge .

This role is suited to a qualified Mechanical Fitter with strong experience in mechanical maintenance, repairs and fault finding. While machining may form a component of the work, the majority of the role is field-based mechanical fitting .

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced Grade 2 Mechanical Fitter for a hands-on, field-based maintenance role working on the Sydney Harbour Bridge .

This role is suited to a qualified Mechanical Fitter with strong experience in mechanical maintenance, repairs and fault finding. While machining may form a component of the work, the majority of the role is field-based mechanical fitting .

The Role

- Mechanical fitting, maintenance, installation and repairs

- Fault finding and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment

- Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

- Routine and emergency repairs





- Minor vehicle repairs and servicing as required

- Use of hand tools, powered tools and small plant

- Working independently and as part of a maintenance team

- Completing work in line with WHS, environmental and quality requirements

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent

- Current White Card

- Relevant Mechanical Fitting experience

- Minimum 12 months' experience at Grade 1 or industry equivalent

- Current unrestricted driver's licence

- Robust commitment to safe work practices

Highly Desirable

- Dogging and/or Rigging ticket

- Working at Heights

- Rail RISI / relevant rail accreditation

- Previous rail, bridge, infrastructure or field maintenance experience
