About the role

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior/Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to develop their career in a supportive and team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of accounting services including taxation, financial reporting and business advisory.

Key responsibilities

- Bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

- Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and payroll obligations

- Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting processes

- Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger accounts

- Assisting with budgeting and cash flow reporting

- Liaising with clients

- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and management reports





- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations

- Tax Return preparation

About you

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- 1 to 5 years accounting experience (Junior to Intermediate level)

- Working knowledge of accounting principles and Australian taxation requirements

- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Studying toward or completed CPA qualification (desirable)
