PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

What are we looking for?

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, as a key member of the Finance team and business partner to the Operations team, the Payroll Administrator is responsible for assisting with the processing of the fortnightly payroll for stores, warehouses and head office for Australia. This customer focused role interacts with all team members, ensuring team members are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining relationships with external bodies including superannuation funds, the Australian Tax Office (ATO), Centrelink and workers compensation bodies.

Your Key Functions Will Include:

- Assist and process the fortnightly payroll for Industrie in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist in processing adjustment runs accurately and on time
- Onboarding new staff
- Offboarding terminated staff
- Respond to team member payroll queries in an accurate and timely manner
- File payroll documents in an appropriate and timely manner
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all payroll documents
- Assist in delivering Payday superannuation information and payments to superannuation clearing house




- Ensure that team member on visas only work within their rights. Advise Manager visa expiry and follow up on resolution
- PAYG payments
- Manage team member expenses and mileage claims
- Assist in reconciling staff discounts & incentives in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist in delivering weekly, fortnightly and monthly reports to Industrie team leaders and Finance

What You’ll Bring:

- 1 year experience in a similar role desirable, but not required
- Strong numerical skills with a high attention to detail
- Well-developed relationship management and customer service skills
- Commitment and patience to resolve problems in a timely manner
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skill
- MS Office skills - Outlook, Excel & Word
- excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
