Early Intervention Key Worker – Flexible Hours

Bridge to Understanding is looking for a passionate and caring Early Intervention Key Worker to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

As a Key Worker, you will work closely with children and their families to provide practical, individualised early intervention support. You will help families work towards their child’s goals across everyday environments, including home, education and community settings.

This role would suit a qualified professional from an education, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology or related allied health background who enjoys working collaboratively with children and families.

Qualifications we are looking for:

Applicants should hold a relevant tertiary qualification, such as:

- Bachelor of Education – including Early Childhood, Primary or Special Education
- Bachelor of Psychology or Psychological Science
- Bachelor of Social Work
- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
- Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology
- Or another relevant bachelor-level early childhood, developmental or allied health qualification appropriate to the role

Where the applicant’s profession requires registration or professional membership, they must hold or be eligible to hold the relevant registration or membership, such as AHPRA, AASW or Speech Pathology Australia.

What we are looking for:

- A genuine passion for early intervention and supporting children and families
- Experience working with children




- An understanding of child development and developmental differences
- A strengths-based, neuroaffirming and family-centred approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and caregivers
- Solid communication, organisation and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- NDIS and early childhood intervention experience is welcomed but not essential
