The Role

We are on the lookout for an efficient Kitchen Hand to join our passionate team. Immediate start available.

Location: Allowah, Dundas Valley

Employment Type: Permanent Part time, 3 days per week. The hours of work will be 6am-1pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Willingness to pick up additional hours if needed will be highly regarded.

Remuneration: $28.44/hour salary packaging options available

Here, you’ll have the opportunity to:

- Prepare and deliver nutritious and attractive meals to the clients

- Ensure the kitchen is maintained in accordance with HACCP standards

- Adhere to the general principles of food preparation and hygienic cleaning practices





- Report any issues relating to repairs or machine and equipment breakdown

- Ensure all clients, visitors and staff are treated in a courteous manner

- Observe Hospital Infection Control Policy and Procedures

Skills we’re looking for!

- Teamwork: Work cohesively in a multi-disciplinary team

- Communication: Written and verbal, to communicate across diverse groups

- Reliability: Work independently and follow instructions for optimal client care

- Flexibility: Be creative and adaptable in carrying out duties in the formula room

- Time management: Be able to prioritise tasks well and meet deadlines

Essential Criteria

- Certificate II in Health Support Services or equivalent

- Working with Children Check

- NDIS Workers Check

- Police Check

- Experience in working in a HACCP environment (desirable)
