Buon Appetit is a busy, family-owned Italian restaurant in the heart of Camden, specialising in handmade pasta, traditional Italian food and authentic wood-fired pizza.

We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to join our team.

We have full-time, part-time and casual positions available, making this role suitable for someone looking for regular ongoing work or versatile hospitality hours.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Hand, you will play an important part in keeping our kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly during service.

Your duties will include

- Washing dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Operating the commercial dishwasher
- Keeping washing and kitchen areas clean and organised
- Cleaning benches, floors, sinks and equipment
- Emptying rubbish and maintaining waste areas
- Assisting with general kitchen cleaning throughout service
- Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and food safety
- Putting away clean equipment and kitchen items correctly
- Assisting chefs with basic preparation tasks when required
- Helping with deliveries, storage and general kitchen duties
- Completing end-of-shift cleaning and closing duties

- Comfortable with physical work and being on their feet
- Clean, organised and able to follow instructions
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Available for evening and weekend shifts
- Able to maintain a positive attitude during busy services

Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential. We are happy to train the right person who has a good attitude and strong work ethic. Hours & Availability

Buon Appetit operates primarily across Wednesday to Sunday, with our busiest periods on Friday and Saturday nights and across the weekend.
