Casual Labourer – Landscaping Company

Location: Melbourne – North/Western Suburbs

Industry: Landscaping & Gardening

Employment: Casual/Vacation – Monday to Friday, full-time hours

Early Starts: 7:00am

Overtime: Available

Occasional Saturdays

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Casual Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit and takes pride in doing a job properly.

There is an opportunity for the right person to progress into a full-time position based on performance, reliability and attitude.

About the Role

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- General landscaping and labouring duties
- Turf preparation and laying




- Planting trees and shrubs
- Mulching and weeding
- Assist with installation of irrigation systems
- Using hand tools including shovels and rakes
- General rubbish collection and site clean-up
- Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment
- Assisting landscapers on various projects
- Preparing work areas and maintaining clean and safe worksites
- Following workplace health and safety procedures

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

- Previous landscaping, gardening or labouring experience highly regarded
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual work
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- An eye for detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Current Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- High-Visibility Workwear
- Safety Boots
- Horticulture or Landscaping qualifications are advantageous
