We are working with an elite Australian law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Employment Law practice within their Brisbane office.

The Role The successful candidate will join a nationally recognised Employment Relations team, working on a range of complex employment, industrial relations and work health and safety challenges. The candidate will work on high-value litigation and enterprise bargaining negotiations, as well as conducting and supporting workplace investigations, discipline processes, and organisational change projects. The candidate will also support HR teams in day-to-day employee safety matters, such as discrimination claims, psychological risks in a redundancy process, and workplace conduct complaints.

The candidate will also play a key role in significant employee safety matters, including incident responses, regulator investigations,



and some of Australia’s most high-profile WHS prosecutions and coronial inquests.

Essential Criteria

- 2+ PQE;
- Strong background in employment law, industrial relations and workplace safety within a medium to large commercial practice;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
