Michael Vassili Barristers & Solicitors (MVBS) is an expanding litigation and transactional law practice with over two decades of solid success in litigation in various jurisdictions throughout NSW and Australia. Our lawyers appear in all courts and tribunals throughout Australia.

MVBS has an excellent reputation in litigation in the following areas: Criminal Law, Civil Law, Commercial Law, Family Law, Corporations, Building and Constructions, Land and Environment, Equity, and Various Appellate Jurisdictions.

The law practice has offices at Blacktown, Kellyville, Seven Hills, Windsor, and in the Central Coast.

We presently have an opportunity available for a full-time Paralegal / Legal Support Officer.

Your duties will include:

- Assisting our lawyers with various legal matters
- Legal billing and invoicing
- Assisting with legal research and analysis
- Assisting with drafting legal advice
- Preparation of correspondence
- Preparation of file notes of client conferences
- Assisting with preparation of affidavits and court documents
- Reviewing documents
- Client intake
- File management
- Utilising the LEAP software
- Various general administrative work





Qualifications:

- Paralegal with a Certificate III or IV in Paralegal Studies, or a Diploma in Paralegal Studies.
- We will also consider Administrative Assistants or those who seek to embark upon Paralegal Studies which the Firm may consider supporting for the right candidate.

- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organisational, matter management and time management skills

Please note that this is not a Solicitor’s position, and the successful candidate will not be responsible for their own legal files as this is a support role for our Legal Staff.
