You will be responsible for helping lead the day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining the quality and consistency of our food. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled kitchen professional to take on greater responsibility, work closely with the owner and existing team, and help take our kitchen to the next level.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support the kitchen team

Maintain the quality, flavour and presentation of our existing menu

Manage kitchen preparation and service

Introduce new dishes, flavours and cooking techniques

Assist with menu development and future concepts

Manage stock, ordering, portion control and food costs

Reduce wastage and improve kitchen efficiency

Help establish and maintain kitchen systems and procedures

Train and guide other kitchen team members

About you

Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or Senior Chef

Experience in a Vietnamese, Asian or similar high-volume restaurant

Strong knowledge of Vietnamese and Asian flavours, ingredients and cooking methods





A passion for quality food and consistent execution

Strong leadership and communication skills

The ability to work independently and lead a team

Experience with food cost, stock control and kitchen operations

A positive, reliable and professional attitude

The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy kitchen

Experience with catering, large-volume production or menu development is highly regarded

$90,000–$110,000 + super, depending on experience
