Overview:

Southside Racing is the beating heart of the Thoroughbred Racing Industry with the largest training facility in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as multiple hospitality venues, providing first class entertainment to the wider community.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Oversee the facilitation of patron, vehicle and equine movements, including strict adherence with ticketing and member pass guidelines
- Respond to customer enquiries including distribution of tickets for events & functions
- Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service to patrons, members, owners and industry participants
- Ensure only key personnel have access to restricted areas
- Act as the first point of customer contact,



answering any queries customers may have when arriving on course

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, courteous and professional in a busy race day environment.
- Approachable and professional manner, with the ability to resolve customer enquiries efficiently and effectively.

This role is ideal for those seeking casual work, with shifts primarily available Thursday and Friday evenings, along with occasional weekends at our Cranbourne Racecourse, with the ability to attend Pakenham Racecourse during our peak season. Roles start in late September 2026.
