Do you enjoy good conversation, sharing stories, and making a positive difference in someone's life? We are looking for a friendly Social Volunteer to spend one hour each week visiting a gentleman who would value companionship and connection.

This gentleman enjoys watching television and action movies, and loves spending time in the garden or chatting about handyman projects and practical tasks around the home.

Originally from Lebanon, he also speaks Arabic and would enjoy connecting with someone who shares an interest in his culture, language or life experiences.

Your weekly visits could involve sharing a conversation over a cup of tea, discussing favourite movies, talking about gardening tips, admiring the garden, or simply enjoying each other's company.

Requirements

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • Our client is requesting a visit between 10am and 4pm Monday or Wednesdays, visits could be weekly depending on your availability.
