The Opportunity In this role, you will manage a portfolio of income protection, total permanent disablement and death benefit claims, supporting claimants throughout their injury and recovery journey while working closely with medical and allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of life insurance claims from assessment through to resolution.
- Build strong, professional and lasting relationships with claimants and clients.
- Liaise with claimants, medical professionals, allied health providers and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assess medical and other relevant information to support effective claim management.
- Proactively manage claims reserves and review information as circumstances change.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support appropriate recovery and return-to-work outcomes.




- Provide a high level of customer service throughout the claims process.
- Effectively manage competing priorities within a fast-paced and changing environment.

About You We are open to applications from the following professional backgrounds. You may have experience in:

- Life, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, Personal Injury or Accident & Health Insurance Claims.
- Allied Health experience – Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist.
- Medical administration or support.

You will also bring:
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
- A genuine desire to support people through injury and recovery.
- Confidence communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- The ability to work effectively in a quick-paced and evolving environment.
- An understanding of medical terminology will be highly regarded.
