The opportunity

DecoPave is growing and we’re hiring a Line Marking Operator to take ownership of day-to-day site delivery. We’re after someone reliable, safety-focused, and proud of clean, consistent work — the kind of operator who can run a job professionally without being micromanaged.

We also deliver whole-of-site upgrades, including safety fixtures and decorative pavement coatings, so we need someone adaptable who can work across scope requirements when needed.

This role includes a 1-week paid trial and a 3-month probation so both sides can confirm it’s the right fit.

Growth pathway: For the right person, there’s a clear path to Lead Hand / Supervisor as we scale.

Hours, travel & shifts

- Typically 38 hours per week (full-time)
- Mix of day and night shifts depending on project requirements
- Travel required: mostly NSW/ACT, with interstate travel to other states when required (paid as applicable)

What you’ll be doing

- Deliver line marking jobs end-to-end (set-out, masking, application, clean-up)
- Surface prep (cleaning, minor prep, basic defect awareness)
- Apply markings accurately (widths, spacing, symbols/stencils where required)
- Assist with safety fixture installs where required (bollards, wheel stops, signage, etc.)




- Assist with decorative pavement coatings / site upgrades when required
- Work safely around pedestrians/vehicles and follow SWMS/WHS controls
- Maintain equipment and job readiness (cleaning, maintenance, stock checks)
- Take site photos and provide basic close-out notes

What we’re looking for Must-have

- Proven line marking experience (car parks / roads / warehouses / schools)
- Solid attention to detail and pride in finish
- Reliable, punctual, and communicates clearly
- Driver licence
- White Card

Highly regarded

- Experience with night works / live environments
- Ability to read plans and mark out accurately

Trial + probation (how we hire)
