About the Opportunity

We’re growing the wine team at Grill Americano Sydney!

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced section waiter/waitress with a passion for wine to become part of our lively and energetic FOH crew. You’ll primarily be section waiting while assisting our sommelier team in offering exceptional wine recommendations to our guests. With opportunities for growth,



this role could lead to a permanent position within our sommelier team.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have

- Proven experience of at least 2 years as a section waitstaff in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in a premium restaurant
- Passion for the wine industry
- Exemplary service skills with a strong guest focus
- Highly adaptable and able to thrive during high-pressure service periods
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and a "can-do" spirit
- Willingness and ability to work weekends, public holidays, and both opening and closing shifts
- Must possess a valid NSW RSA Certificate
